Therapy for women
I work with women, often in midlife. who are used to managing a lot. Work, relationships, family, responsibilities.
This isn’t about quick fixes.
It’s about taking the time to understand yourself more fully — including the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
Over time, this can lead to a different relationship with yourself and your life.
My approach is psychodynamic. That means we look together at how your past experiences and relationships may be shaping how you feel and live now — often in ways that aren’t immediately obvious.
I offer a space that is calm, grounded and non-judgemental — somewhere you can think, feel and speak freely.
My background
Alongside my work as a therapist, I have over 35 years’ experience as an organisational consultant and executive coach.
I’ve worked extensively with professionals and leaders, and understand the pressures and expectations that come with working life — and how these can shape how we feel about ourselves.
I’m also someone who has lived through many of life’s transitions — change, loss, growth, shifting roles.
I bring all of this into my work to offer something that is both professionally grounded and human.
What therapy can do for you
Therapy can be a place where:
For many people, this is not a quick process, but one that unfolds over time.
I offer both short-term and longer-term work, with many people choosing to stay for a deeper exploration.
First steps
I offer an initial 30-minute conversation free of charge.
This is simply a chance to talk a little about what brings you, ask any questions, and get a sense of whether this feels like the right space for you.
If this resonates, please get in touch.
